For my birthday/Christmas/holiday season this year, in lieu of gifts, I’m asking for donations to help Child & Family Service raise much needed funds to support their lifesaving work in Hawaii. Through nearly 50 programs statewide, CFS offers services on Oahu, Kauai, Maui County, and Hawaii Island. Within the past fiscal year alone, CFS provided direct services to 19,960 individuals and touched another 75,000 lives through phone calls, referrals, educational presentations, and by providing for those visiting their walk-in family centers! This year, I’m participating in CFS’ “Families Helping Families: Virtual Marathon of Quarters” campaign. The diameter of a quarter is roughly 1 inch, and I will be measuring my height and donating the length in quarters: that’s <insert height here>, a total of $<insert $ amount here>!
