The Institute for Training and Evaluation (ITE) was created to support the growth and development of people and organizations that serve Hawai‘i. This strategic venture of Hawaii’s nonprofit Child & Family Service (CFS) provides social services program training and evaluation for public and private organizations.
Drawing on the extensive experience of CFS in successful delivery of programs and services, ITE offers customized training to help organizations deliver programs and services that are clinically based and proven to be effective. CFS began implementing trauma-informed care in 2010 using the Risking Connection® model. CFS began implementing Results-Based Accountability™ (RBA) in 2012 to ensure that all programs are producing measurable and positive results and is the only licensed provider of RBA in the state of Hawai‘i.
The Institute for Training and Evaluation offers customized training in four areas:
“Training organizations, transforming communities”
Under the leadership of Angie Doi, Director of the Institute for Training and Evaluation, the ITE team is dedicated to helping organizations meet the demand for data-driven outcomes based training and consultation.
