Hale O Ulu (House of Growth) is a “second chance” for students who are expelled from school for drug abuse, violence, or truancy.   Students are offered individual learning plans that help them to recapture missing credits, and assist them in understanding their learning styles and challenges.  Students and their families are offered counseling and other social services.  This helps the student to address more than just their educational issues and have the support to be successful as they return to high schools on track to graduate with their classmates.

Eligibility

Student referred and approved by Complex Area Superintendent or Family Court Probation Officer
