Child & Family Service has been providing trauma-based education for youth in grades 7 – 12 for nearly 40 years. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, DOE funding for this program no longer exists. However, CFS understands that students need individualized attention today and into the foreseeable future. Therefore, we have modified our classrooms and education model to bridge the gap for students who are experiencing challenges with learning.
Our trauma-based educators offer 3-hour blocks of in-person individualized tutoring, Monday through Friday. Welcoming students from all around O‘ahu, our socially distanced classrooms are located in Ewa Beach and have implemented capacity limits to adhere to CDC, State, and County guidelines.
Most families who need this type of tutoring for their children do not have the financial means to pay. Please help keep these services available, your gift will help provide tutoring and other supports that help students succeed.
