In 2003 the Kaua‘i Guild was formed by community leaders, Micki Evslin, Carole Kahn, and Kathy Richardson. Their objective was to bring hundreds of members of Kaua‘i’s philanthropic community together to assist Child & Family Service in supporting families in need on the Garden Island.

Affectionately known as the “Guildas,” this team of leaders reached out to their circles of influence around the island to build a force of 300+ members. Their concept of a large Guild with few meetings allows busy members to participate in activities and events at their convenience and in ways that are personally meaningful.
