Kauai OfficeEarly Childhood and Children's Services: Our Adoption Program assists Hawai'i's families in adopting children from China and the Philippines. Our goal is to educate and support our adoptive families in their journey toward adoption. We also strive to support them with resources and education after the adoption is finalized. More Information The Comprehensive Counseling & Support Services (CCSS) program is a child abuse prevention and treatment program. More Information Baby S.A.F.E. is a free, island-wide program for women, which provides outreach and support, referrals to community resources, and drug and alcohol screenings. More Information Nana's House is a family support center provided by Child and Family Service, serving West Kauai. Hale Ho'omalu is a family support center provided by Child and Family Service, serving East Kauai. More Information Short-term support and intensive referral services to families to reduce the risk of child abuse/neglect (referred by the Department of Human Services) More Information Head Start provides educational programs designed to meet each child’s individual needs. All children in Head Start benefit from a comprehensive health program, promoting preventive health care and assistance in establishing a medical home. More Information The Enhanced Healthy Start program provides home visiting services to families who are currently in Child Welfare Services. More Information Post Permanency Services is a completely free and voluntary program designed to preserve the placement of adoptive children and children who are in long-term, permanent placement with a new family. More Information Youth Services: Independent Living Services is a program which provides individual and group counseling for youth ages 12-21 who are living in out-of-home care. More Information Adult and Family Services: Provides confidential, short-term counseling to employees of contracted companies and their families to assist them in overcoming problems, which adversely affect their work performance.
