Hale Ho'omalu is a family support center provided by Child and Family Service, serving East Kauai. More Information Short-term support and intensive referral services to families to reduce the risk of child abuse/neglect (referred by the Department of Human Services) More Information Head Start provides educational programs designed to meet each child’s individual needs. All children in Head Start benefit from a comprehensive health program, promoting preventive health care and assistance in establishing a medical home. More Information The Enhanced Healthy Start program provides home visiting services to families who are currently in Child Welfare Services. More Information This program provides perinatal support services to high-risk pregnant women on Kauai who are in their first trimester and supports their entry into early prenatal health care. More Information The Pre-Plus Preschool program is a combination Head Start and preschool program funded by the Department of Human Services. More Information Youth Services: Independent Living Services is a program which provides individual and group counseling for youth ages 12-21 who are living in out-of-home care. More Information This program provides teen pregnancy prevention service to minimum of 20 teens a year, ages 11-15, who are in foster care or who are a-risk. More Information Adult and Family Services: The Parent Line Program is a free statewide confidential telephone line which offers support and information to parents and other caregivers. More Information Provides confidential, short-term counseling to employees of contracted companies and their families to assist them in overcoming problems, which adversely affect their work performance.
